Sean Peleman (b. 2000) creates sculptural and sound installations that open a dialogue between historical references and the silhouettes of personal memory. His work suggests a sense of subjective familiarity that often feels dreamlike. By combining stage-building materials, objects drawn from his personal surroundings, and audio recordings, Peleman constructs environments that communicate a psychological experience, reflecting the subtle frictions that emerge within the collective subconscious.

Peleman was born in Antwerp, Belgium. He received his MA from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in 2024.

In 2025, the Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp (M HKA) presented a solo exhibition of his work titled Are You Still Watching? (April–May 2025).

His work has also been included in group exhibitions such as Tuin der Lusten: The Well, Cultuurhuis Hof De Bist, Ekeren, Belgium (2026), and the Onboard Biennale, Antwerp (2025).
